July 2, Saturday: Annual Fourth of July Parade in Prescott. It's part of the Prescott Rodeo festivities. Anyone
interested in helping build the float and/or dancing on the float for the Prescott Fourth of July parade??? We
could use the help. Also, would you be willing to dance on a parade float?

May 5 Friday: if they indeed have a First Friday in Downtown Flagstaff with entertainment at the Heritage
Square site, I have requested this date for a hula performance. More info TBA.
June 29: Hawaiian Language class starts in Cottonwood, and runs for 8 consecutive weeks, every Wednesday
from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Civic Center.
June 27: New For Beginners Hula Class starts in Cottonwood, and runs for 6 consecutive weeks, every
Monday night from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Center.
May 23 through June 16: no hula classes
April 9: AdoptaHighway trash pickup date.
Rehearsal dates for Aloha Festival: Feb. 10, 17, 24, and March 2. Dress Rehearsal on March 9.
March 11, Friday: Don't forget our annual Lei-making session in Phoenix!
May 14 and 15: Musical Instrument Museum "Experience Polynesia" weekend, in north Phoenix. See
www.mim.org for more details. We will be performing hula (ancient and modern) on both days, as well as
presenting lectures on Hawaiian culture.
May 22 to June 4: Festival of Pacific Arts (held every 4 years on an island nation), Island of Guam.
November 5, by the way, is our Annual Hula Ho'ike!
